St. Josephs Basilica – Then and Now

When Edmonton’s St. Josephs Basilica was originally built in 1924 it was just a just a small Crypt Church. The beautiful Cathedral that we know and love today was constructed on top of the old Crypt in 1961.

The lower entrance to the old Crypt still remains and is used today for banquets and special events. Use the street view arrows below and take a look inside.
